The Blue Assessor is a hardy
and very peaceful fish that does well in the reef aquarium. The Blue
Assessor usually
will hang upside down on overhangs. The Assessor macneilli prefers to have many crevices and sheltered overhangs to hide. The
Blue Assessor can
be kept in small groups in larger aquariums. The Assessor macneilli is a
very rare and popular reef specimen. The Blue Assessor gets
along very well with other peaceful fish in reef aquariums. This fish should not be
kept with other aggressive dottyback or pseudochromis species.
